Forgive Me Lord Lord take me into your arms
And shelter me from harm
Take this pain and hatred from me
And lead me through the dark
I know I haven't been the best of souls
I know I've hurt many, and you
But I pray that you forgive me now
And to myself for you to be true
I'm sorry for all the wrong I've done
And I know I've done a lot
But please Lord, accept my faults
For you, this writing I have thought
Other idols will not take my soul
And false gods cannot take your place
I pary that you help me through this life
And one day I will see your face
Your love it means a lot to me
Even though others think differently
But first, help me through the day
And I promise I will always be me. Yesterday As soon as things turn around
And anguish leaves my mind
More saddness and hatred follow
So happiness I can't find.
I put many things into yesterday
And for once my mind was blank
I didn't think of the pain inside
And for this, the Lord I thank
I had a really good time last night
So Lord I have to say
That this day will be just as great
