American pride its been for so long

Showing pure power wherever it flies

Seeing the eagle brings tears to my eyes.

The star spangled banner whispers in the wind

Taking the breath from those weak within

Bringing a nation together, the near and the far

Never stopping too soon or going under par.

The stars and the stripes flying now at half

Reminds all what happened when they see that mast

Promotes pride in the country standing as one
